ANNUAL SOCIAL IN THE PARK

This year’s annual social event will be a cookout on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Hotdogs, brats, and chips will be provided. Bring your own chair & beverage. Music plus updated directories will be available at the social. Hope to see you there!!

4-H is for children ages 8 to 18. If you are interested in joining a neighborhood club, or would like more information about 4-H, contact Anita Thul

MCLEAN COUNTY GROWTH SURVEY

The results of the McLean County Growth Survey are available at www.mcplan.org. The intent of this survey was to encourage public discussion on growth alternatives in McLean county. This website provides a great deal of information on our community including population, quality of life, and zoning information.


MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS...

  • If you have an item you would like included in the next newsletter, contact any board member.

  • Call the city’s Public Service department at 454-2220 if you have damaged curbs needing repair.

  • Bloomington also offers a 50-50 "share program" for homeowners wanting to get repairs made to their sidewalk. Cost for the repairs will be split with the city.

Board meetings are held the first or second Tuesday of each month. Feel free to contact any board member with items, questions, or complaints for the agenda. Complaints should be in written form. They will be held in confidence and responded to in writing.


COMMENT CORNER

Unfortunately, there continue to be some cases of vandalism in the subdivision and park. We ask that everyone keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. If you see a problem, please be sure to contact a board member or the authorities.

Please respect the law regarding leashing your dog - this is for the safety of children, adults, and other pets in our neighborhood.
